Create Your Account

Getting started with Homeschool Hive begins with creating your account. This guide walks you through the registration process.

Sign Up Options​

You can create a Homeschool Hive account in two ways:

  1. Email and Password - Create an account using your email address
  2. Social Login - Sign up quickly using your Google account

Creating an Account with Email​

  1. Go to homeschoolhive.co/register
  2. Enter your information:
    • First Name - Your first name
    • Last Name - Your last name
    • Email Address - A valid email you have access to
    • Password - Create a secure password (at least 8 characters)
  3. Click Create Account
Password Tips

Choose a strong password that includes:

  • At least 8 characters
  • A mix of uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Numbers and special characters

Creating an Account with Google​

For a faster sign-up experience:

  1. Go to homeschoolhive.co/register
  2. Click Continue with Google
  3. Select your Google account or sign in to Google
  4. Review the permissions and click Allow

Your account will be created automatically using your Google account information.

Verify Your Email​

After creating your account with email and password, you need to verify your email address:

  1. Check your inbox for an email from Homeschool Hive
  2. Click the Verify Email link in the email
  3. You'll be redirected to Homeschool Hive with your email confirmed
Didn't receive the email?
  • Check your spam or junk folder
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address
  • Click "Resend verification email" on the login page

Age Requirements​

Homeschool Hive requires users to be at least 13 years old to create an account, in compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

If You're Under 13​

If you're under 13, a parent or guardian must create and manage the account on your behalf. Parents can add children as family members through their own account without needing separate accounts for minors.

During registration, you may be asked to verify your age. If the system detects that an account holder may be under 13:

  1. The registration process will pause
  2. A parental consent verification step will be required
  3. A parent or guardian must complete the verification before the account can be activated
Why Age Verification?

This process protects children's privacy online and ensures compliance with federal regulations. Parents maintain full control over their children's information through the Family Members feature.

Sign In to Your Account​

Once your account is created and verified:

  1. Go to homeschoolhive.co/login
  2. Enter your email and password, or click Continue with Google
  3. Click Sign In

Forgot Your Password?​

If you forget your password:

  1. Go to homeschoolhive.co/login
  2. Click Forgot password?
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Click Send Reset Link
  5. Check your email for a password reset link
  6. Click the link and create a new password

What's Next?​

After creating your account, you should:

  1. Complete your profile - Add your family information
  2. Set up notifications - Choose how you want to be notified
  3. Find groups to join - Discover homeschool groups in your area
