Insights

If you came here looking for reports, read this first: Famlo has no reports section.

There is no analytics dashboard, no set of tabs to click through, no charts to filter by date range, no scheduled report arriving by email, and no screen where you pick what to export.

What exists is smaller and more useful than that. Two surfaces answer almost every question a leader actually has, and one export exists in the whole console.

Your console dashboard

Dashboard is the first thing you land on when you open your organization, and it is the closest thing Famlo has to an overview.

It is a grid of widgets. Each covers one thing you would otherwise go hunting for: what is happening today, who is new, where you stand on money. Each links through to the section that owns it. The today widget carries a Take roll button that goes straight to the meeting list, so you can start a roster without finding the activity first.

You can arrange the grid. Move the widgets you use to the top, move the ones you never read out of the way, and the layout is saved for next time you open it.

Every role except Member can open Dashboard. What each person sees inside it still follows their permissions, so a billing manager and an event manager do not see the same grid.

Local insights

Local insights is the one genuinely predictive thing in the console: what families near you searched for and did not find.

It is demand you are not meeting yet. A run of searches for a subject nobody nearby offers beats any attendance chart as a signal. It comes from families who went looking and left empty-handed. Read it before you plan a term.

Owners, co-leaders and event managers can open it. See Members, roles, and messaging.

The one export

The family ledger on your console dashboard exports a CSV of the dues figures on screen. That is the only export in the organizer console.

It is available to anyone who can open billing, which means the owner and a billing manager. See Membership dues.

Everything else stays on screen. There is no member export, no attendance report, no emergency-contact download, no medical export, no scholarship export, no archive of messages, and no PDF of anything.

:::note Plan around this before you need it The absence matters most at two moments: the day before a field trip, when you want a printed contact sheet, and the day you close your listing. Neither produces a file. Decide now what you keep outside Famlo. See Closing your listing. :::

Where the numbers actually live

Each console section carries its own figures, at the point where you would act on them.

What you want to knowWhere it is
How full a date isThe activity list shows registrations against capacity. See Scheduling activities.

Troubleshooting

Where did reports go? There was never a reports feature to lose. Use the table above — the number you want is on the section that owns it.

I want attendance history for the year. Attendance is recorded per session and read per session. There is no roll-up across a term and no export. If you need a yearly record, keep your own as you go.

I need a contact sheet for a field trip. There is no export that produces one. Open the roster on a phone at the door, or write out what you need beforehand.

I want a report emailed to me every month. Nothing schedules or emails a report. Open Dashboard when you want to look.

Local insights is empty. It reflects searches near you. A quiet area, or a very new listing, can genuinely have nothing to show yet.

I cannot see Local insights. It is limited to owners, co-leaders and event managers. See Members, roles, and messaging.
